WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY

Email gate — coaching tools The following free tools on line-speed-read.com require an email address to unlock: Stroke Length Calculator, Putt Break Table, and Degree of Error Table. We collect your email address to give you access to the tool and to send you relevant putting coaching content, tips and offers from JP Golf Academy and Line Speed Read. By submitting your email you agree to receive these communications.
100ft Putting Drill When you complete the 100ft Drill we ask for your name and email before showing your results. We use this to send you personalised coaching feedback based on your drill data. We also collect your drill results — score, make percentage and miss tendencies — alongside your contact details.
Strokes Gained Putting Calculator Same as above — name and email collected at the end of the session, along with your SG score, total putts and miss tendency data.
Contact forms When you submit an enquiry via our websites we collect your name and email address to respond to your enquiry.
Mailchimp newsletter If you subscribe to our email list we collect your name and email address via Mailchimp to send you coaching content, updates and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Under GDPR we process your data on the basis of:

Consent — when you enter your email to unlock a tool or subscribe to the newsletter, you are actively consenting to receive coaching communications.

Legitimate interest — to follow up on enquiries and provide the coaching service you have actively engaged with.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We use the following third-party services. Each is GDPR-compliant:

Formspree (formspree.io) — processes all form and tool gate submissions Mailchimp (mailchimp.com) — manages our email newsletter list Google Fonts — used on our websites for typography

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing purposes.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

Tool gate submissions and drill results: reviewed periodically and cleared from Formspree within 12 months Contact form enquiries: deleted within 12 months if no ongoing relationship develops Newsletter list: retained until you unsubscribe

YOUR RIGHTS

Under GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten), object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time.

COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE

Our websites use browser localStorage to remember whether you have already unlocked a gated tool, so you are not asked to enter your email again on the same device. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten — IMY) at imy.se.
